***Exploring Non Fiction: Postponed!*** In-Person
Tonight's book group is postponed due to staff illness. A new date will be scheduled. We hope to see you then.
Join us at the GPL for our bi-monthly non fiction book discussion as we explore different authors and genres, on Tuesday, November 18at 6:30 pm in the GPL Conference Room. This month we are exploring Omar El Akkad’s nonfiction debut One Day, Everyone Will Have Always Been Against This.
In the fall of 2023, shortly after the bombardment of Gaza, Akkad posted a statement on social media: "One day, when it's safe, when there's no personal downside to calling a thing what it is, when it's too late to hold anyone accountable, everyone will have always been against this." One Day, Everyone Will Have Always Been Against This expands on his social media message and chronicles his thoughts on the nature of truth, justice, privilege and morality.
Copies of the book are available at the library.
For more information, contact Pamela McBride at librarian@greenfieldpubliclibrary.org or call (413) 772-1544.
This program, made possible through the generosity of the Friends of the Greenfield Public Library, is free and intended for ages 14 and up.
