T-Shirt Project, an installation by the Children’s Advocacy Center of Franklin County and North Quabbin Area Coffee Reception following the Town Common flag raising ceremony in honor of Child Abuse Awareness Month, Friday, April 18, Community Meeting Room
The Greenfield Public Library welcomes The Children’s Advocacy Center, and their T Shirt Project exhibit in the Community Meeting Room, and throughout the library, beginning Tuesday, April 1. Following the Flag raising ceremony at Greenfield’s Common on Friday, April 18 in honor of Child Abuse Awareness Month, a coffee reception will be held in the Library’s Community Meeting Room.
The Children’s Advocacy Center (CAC) works tirelessly in our community to keep children safe by providing countless services for local families. Each T-shirt displayed throughout the library represents a child seen by the CAC in the past year. This year alone over 200 children have been seen at the CAC ranging in ages from three months to 18 years old.
Based on the fundamental premise that children have the right to be safe, and protected from harm, the CAC provides child protective services for all members of the Franklin County and North Quabbin community.
For more information, contact the CAC at: info@cacfranklinnq.org or call 413-475-3401.
These exhibits. coordinated by the volunteer Art Committee of the Greenfield Public Library, are free and open to everyone in our community.
