Simple Sewing Class: Magic Pillow Case In-Person
Join us in the Makerspace on Tuesday, October 21 from 2:00 - 4:00 pm and learn how to make a Magic Pillowcase!
We will help you create a seasonally inspired standard sized pillow case. Purchase your pillow case kit ahead of time at Northampton’s Valley Fabrics (or they’ll help you pick your own 3 pieces) or purchase three different patterns of cotton fabric at Greenfield’s The Textile Company. You will need 3/4 yard, and 1/4 yard and 1/8 yard of fabrics in different patterns to make your pillowcase. Basic sewing skills required. We will supply sewing machines, thread, and other supplies to finish your project. Register by October 14th to reserve your spot.
The Mending Clinic will be on hiatus while we offer Simple Sewing Classes in October and November. It will resume on Tuesday January 20th, 2026.
Participants limited to 6, registration required. Registration deadline: October 14th.
