Community Legal Aid Information Session, Tuesday, August 5, Main Lobby In-Person
Members of Community Legal Aid will be at the Greenfield Public Library on Tuesday August 5, from 2:00 - 4:00 pm to answer questions and provide information about their CORI/Reentry Unit.
The CORI/Reentry Unit at Community Legal Aid provides legal assistance with civil legal issues that come up because of past criminal court involvement.
This includes:
- CORI sealing and expungement petitions
- Pardon petitions
- Appeals of denials of public and subsidized housing because of criminal records issues;
- Appeals of employment and certifications/licensure denials because of criminal records issues
- Findings of “unsuitability” for certain types of employment because of criminal records and/or past DCF cases;
- Denials from educational programs due to a criminal record
You can apply for legal assistance during our informational sessions at the Greenfield Public Library, or through our website: www.communitylegal.org or our intake line: 1-855-252-5342
For more information, contact Pamela McBride at librarian@greenfield-ma.gov, or call (413) 772-1544.
