Community Legal Aid: Fair Housing Information Session In-Person
Community Legal Aid’s Fair Housing Project will be at the Greenfield Public Library to offer information and answer questions on a variety of fair housing issues, including racial harassment, refusal to rent due to family status, refusal to remove lead paint, and discrimination based on disability.
Community Legal Aid’s Fair Housing Project assists renters who have been treated unfairly because of their race, religion, sex, color, national origin, disability, and familial status in Central and Western Massachusetts. The Fair Housing Project can provide legal advice, advocacy, and representation, and also conducts educational workshops on fair housing laws for tenant groups, social service providers, and other community members.
For more information, contact Pamela McBride at librarian@greenfield-ma.gov or call (413) 772-1544.
This program is free and open to everyone in our community.
