Exploring Non Fiction Book Discussion In-Person
Join us at the GPL for our bi-monthly non fiction book discussion as we explore different authors and genres, on Tuesday, January 21, at 6:30 pm in the GPL Conference Room. This month we are exploring Political Science and History with Timothy Snyder’s On Tyranny: twenty lessons from the twentieth century, and the Graphic Novel Series March, by John Lewis and Andrew Aydin.
Snyder’s book On Tyranny focuses on the concept of tyranny in the modern era, with invaluable ideas for how we can preserve our freedoms. In the autobiographical series March the history of the American Civil Rights Movement is told through the perspective of civil rights leader and U.S. Congressman John Lewis.
Copies of the book are available at the library.
For more information, contact Pamela McBride at librarian@greenfieldpubliclibrary.org or call (413) 772-1544.
This program, made possible through the generosity of the Friends of the Greenfield Public Library, is free and intended for ages 14 and up.
